DryFire

Online Shot Timer

Set a random start delay and a par time, press start, and work the beep. Everything runs in your browser — nothing is uploaded, nothing is stored, no account needed.

Online Shot Timer

Ready 0.00 Set your par time and press start
Par time 2.00 s
Delay min 1.0 s
Delay max 4.0 s

The start delay is random between the two values, so you cannot anticipate the beep. Keep your phone unmuted — the beep is generated by the browser.

How to use a par time

A par timer gives you two sounds: the start beep and, after the par time you set, a second beep. Your job is to complete the movement — draw, first shot, reload — before that second beep. It turns a vague “that felt quick” into a pass or a fail.

Pick a par you can hit roughly eight times out of ten. Too easy and nothing changes; too hard and you start slapping the trigger to beat the sound, which trains exactly the wrong thing. When ten repetitions in a row are clean, take 0.1 s off. More on choosing par times.

Want your times recorded?

This timer gives you the beep. The DryFire Android app also listens for the shot, measures your first-shot and split times, and keeps the history so you can see the trend across weeks.
